Sorry for the late response, I thought I had "email me replies" checked. If there is anything else you know that could help me speed up render times, I would appreciate it. Without them, the estimated time remaining shows and it is much faster. So after you told me to check previews, I went and checked/unchecked every export setting one by one and found out that the problem was that I continued to add more and more effects every video, while keeping "Maximum Render Qaulity and VBR 2 Pass" both on.

Using an external camera is clunky and difficult, so instead, we have compiled a list of built-in methods and available third-party software that will do the trick instead. My timeline has a red bar above the sequence though so I haven't rendered previews. Screenflick can record any portion of the screen, simultaneously recording audio from internal or external microphones and the system audio. Other great apps like Screenflick are SimpleScreenRecorder, VokoscreenNG, Camtasia Studio and ScreenRec. The best alternative is OBS Studio, which is both free and Open Source. "Make sure your sequence settings for previews match your export format" There are more than 50 alternatives to Screenflick for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, Online / Web-based and Google Chrome.

mp4 onto each hard drive, then tried to export a couple seconds to test if it was one of the hard drives. I have not installed any virus protection or any software(other than a large video game) that could be causing issues with writing data to disk. Have you installed any new softwrae on your system or added any virus protection that might be causing issues with writing data to disk? Export time is more than twice as slow on the MB 14 Pro in both Screenflow 9 and 10 (latest versions).

Record Once, Export Different Versions One of the major unique features in Screenflick is the ability to export the original full-quality movie multiple times with different scales, qualities, and file formats. Export settings are the exact same as when the exports were very fast. You can see the export settings and then the difference in export speed from the MacBook Pro 13 M1 (16GB - Bir Sur 11.6) ) on the left vs the MacBook Pro 14 M1 Pro (16GB - Monterey 12.0.1) on the right. Screenflick features high performance screen capturing for smooth, fluid motion up to 60 fps. Im a beginner editor so yes i use more and more effects as i get better but i don't think there was enough to cause any problems in the new exports.

Have your sequence settings changed or are you using different effects or different export settings?

Are your source properties the same as the ones you were using before the issue appeared?
